Yesterday Pete and I interviewed Richard Hollingsworth of Fyxer.ai ($0-$3m ARR in Under 12mo) on how they grew so quickly.

I was not surprised to hear that they did an insane level of product diligence before they built anything.

  • They too 6 years of their EA agency data to figure out what people were willing to pay for

  • They realized almost every customer was paying $60/hr for inbox folder creation and management

  • They watched 120 hours of video of EAs actually doing the folder creation and sorting

  • They figured out that everybody was organizing their folders into the same basic 5 folders (whether they called them something different or not)

  • They were able to create something better than the EA with AI

What’s the takeaway?

They ALREADY KNEW that if almost every customer was willing to pay $60/hr for something and they could do it for $30/mo, EVERYBODY WOULD BUY IT.

This was one of many goldmines from a team that is going to be incredibly successful some day.
